... would not have made the album if the "Lost Reel" hadn't been lost. Recorded on the 2nd Farm weekend. Gordo, Jesse's sidekick, actually barked in time, no fancy edits. When playing the song live, I had been singing "19th round" cause I thought it sounded cool enough and didn't really know what round it was that Rocky took Apollo Creed down. I had all the intentions of releasing an accurate stat of Balboa's battle to the point of renting the sequal and watching it at the Farm before recording the vocal. I kept 2 vocal takes. One of which said "15th round"É. It was Ricardo who insisted on keeping the Ò19th RoundÓ takeÉ saying it packed more ÒpunchÓ.
